The ballot vote to approve the proposed restated Deed of Trust, has now been completed in accordance with the Trust Deed and approved election process. Voting closed at 12:30pm on 22 June 2026, after which the votes were counted and verified.

Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust advises members that the Special General Meeting has now been held.
At the SGM, the Special Resolution to adopt the proposed Restated Deed of Trust was moved and seconded. The membership is now required to vote on that Special Resolution.

The trustees have recently undertaken a review of the deed of trust ( Trust Deed). There were a range of drivers behind the review. As a result of the review and due to the number of required amendments, a restated deed is being put forward (the Proposed Restated Deed of Trust) for the membership to vote on.
