The ballot vote to approve the proposed restated Deed of Trust, has now been completed in accordance with the Trust Deed and approved election process. Voting closed at 12:30pm on 22 June 2026, after which the votes were counted and verified.

The ballot vote on the proposed restated Deed of Trust for Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust has now been completed in accordance with the Trust Deed and the approved election process.
Members were asked to vote on a Special Resolution to adopt the proposed restated Deed. To pass, the resolution required support from more than 75% of members who took part in the vote.
The Special Resolution has been passed. The proposed restated Deed of Trust has been approved by the required majority of participating members.
