Professional Bio

Through her mahi with Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust, Hattie supports MACA-related mahi, governance systems, communication and practical administration that helps the kaupapa move forward.  She is committed to supporting a well-run, accountable iwi organisation that serves our whānau, marae and members now and for future generations.

Her previous work has included executive assistance, secretariat services, trustee and board support, stakeholder liaison, business development, project coordination, systems improvement, reporting, procurement, records management and operational planning. She has worked with boards, trustees, CEOs, Treaty partners, government agencies, service providers, iwi members, shareholders, customers and community stakeholders.

Governance and Community Contribution

Hattie currently supports Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust, including project management and administration for Takutai Moana/MACA-related mahi and broader support for the Trust’s governance, communications, technology and organisational systems. Her work contributes to the Trust’s ability to support its constituent marae and Te Ātiawa iwi members across the Wellington region.

Across her career, Hattie has strengthened organisational performance through practical governance support, clear processes, improved reporting, effective meeting administration, stakeholder engagement and the implementation of sustainable systems. She brings particular strengths in administration, analytical thinking, cross-functional coordination, relationship management, process improvement and operational problem-solving.

Hattie offers a steady, practical and service-focused approach to board mahi, with a strong commitment to supporting well-run organisations, informed decision-making and outcomes that serve whānau, iwi and community priorities.
