Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust advises members that the Special General Meeting has now been held.
At the SGM, the Special Resolution to adopt the proposed Restated Deed of Trust was moved and seconded. The membership is now required to vote on that Special Resolution.
The proposed changes will shape how the Trust operates into the future, including trustee elections, marae representation, governance requirements, and major decision-making processes.
The Special Resolution must be supported by more than 75 percent of those who take part in the vote. Every vote matters, and member participation is important to ensure the outcome reflects the collective voice of Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Māui Pōtiki Trust members.
